We have some extraordinary news for collectors, couples, and lovers of Welsh heritage.

We have a small, highly exclusive vault release of new old stock 9ct gold wedding rings, sourced directly from the legendary Gwynfynydd Gold Mine in the Dolgellau Gold Belt of North Wales.

There are precisely seven individual rings in this offering. Each band is in flawless, uncirculated condition, fully hallmarked, and carries the deep-engraved interior stamp: "Pure Welsh Gold".

A Direct Connection to Welsh History

Welsh gold is among the rarest and most sought-after precious metals in the world, famously favoured by the Royal Family for over a century. However, with commercial mining currently dormant across the Welsh hills, authentic stock from famous mines like Gwynfynydd is increasingly difficult to source; especially in completely unworn, brand-new condition.

The Gwynfynydd mine, set deep within the Snowdonia National Park, produced some of the finest gold in British history before closing its gates. These seven rings represent a rare chance to own an authentic piece of that rich mining legacy.

Available Sizes & Specifications

Because this is a true "new old stock" discovery, each ring is entirely unique in its width, finger size, and weight. Once an individual size is sold, it cannot be replaced.

The seven available pieces are categorised below by band width:

Slim Profile (3.4mm Width)

  • Size J — Weight: 1.59g

  • Size M — Weight: 1.61g

Medium Profile (4.25mm – 4.3mm Width)

  • Size I — Width: 4.25mm | Weight: 2.17g

  • Size K½ — Width: 4.26mm | Weight: 2.00g

  • Size O — Width: 4.30mm | Weight: 2.20g

Wide Profile (5.2mm Width)

  • Size J — Weight: 2.58g

  • Size M — Weight: 2.55g

Hallmarked & Certified

Every ring in this collection has undergone strict independent testing and hallmarking. In addition to standard British hallmarks confirming its 9ct purity, each band is permanently laser-engraved on the inside with "Pure Welsh Gold", ensuring its origin and authenticity can be verified for generations to come.
